Abstract

Making and thinking theater are inseparable tasks. One implies the other and they mutually multiply each other in research-creation. That is why from the International Festival of Manizales (the oldest in Latin America, in 2024 we will hold its 56th edition) we generate the Ibero-American Theater Congress as a space to systematize and strengthen the synergy between the making and thinking of theater. Congress and Festival, twinned, parts of a unit.
