Presentation. The theater has been busy telling the stories of the lives and works of various heroic female figures who were important in Argentine history, such as Camila O'Gorman, Lola Mora, Alicia Moreau de Justo, Salvadora Medina Onrubia, Alfonsina Storni, Victoria Ocampo, and Eva Perón. In all cases, these women had a direct connection with male figures who were in power or in the intellectual sphere of the time, such as Juan Manuel de Rosas, Julio A. Roca, Juan B. Justo, Natalio Botana, Horacio Quiroga, the Ocampos (Manuel Silvio Cecilio Ocampo-father and Manuel Anselmo Gregorio Ocampo Lozano-grandfather and founder of the Radical Civic Union), and Juan Domingo Perón. It is from here that we are interested in investigating the ways in which they were brought to the fore from the Bicentennial celebrations to the present day. Let us remember that on March 6, 2009, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner inaugurated the Salón Mujeres Argentinas del Bicentenario (Hall of Argentine Women of the Bicentennial), where photographs were placed of figures such as Mercedes Sosa, Cecilia Grierson, Mariquita Sánchez de Thompson, Blackie, Evita, Juana Azurduy, Victoria Ocampo, Alfonsina Storni, Aimé Paine, Tita Merello, the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, Alicia Moreau de Justo, and Lola Mora. This event, which reflects the mood of the times, turned the theater world into a space for greater production about historical figures. This is our starting point in this research, which will continue until the pandemic period. It should be noted that even during the pandemic, there were streaming plays that visited some of these figures.
